(October 2011) I just wanted to drop you a very late note to say thank you both so much for my lovely wedding dress and fascinator. I imagine I
wasn’t the easiest of customers, deciding to get married at the last minute and putting on or losing half a stone between every fitting but
you were both brilliant and I can’t tell you how much I loved the end result.
I found wedding dress shopping quite weird at first, going into all these frilly shops with women in bad suits giving me some standard patter in soothing tones about being a special bride while dressing me
up in something that made me look like a cross between the sugar plum fairy and a drag queen! I was feeling a bit stressed, then walked into your shop and it was GORGEOUS! So beautiful and individual, it felt really unique but without being intimidating and you guys were so talented, relaxed and fun at every fitting. You were really brilliant at listening and I was amazed by how quickly you just got what I wanted even when I was describing it really badly!
The dress was perfect for our tiny family lunchtime country wedding in Shropshire and worked just as well for our big “circus of love” themed wedding party with all our friends in Bristol a month later. I feel so
lucky I got to wear it twice (just conjuring up how to wear it a third time, without involving a divorce which seems a bit extreme!!)
Anyway, the most important thing is for me to say thank you again. I can imagine your jobs are stressful and you have to put up with all sorts of emotional brides to be but making such beautiful dresses that make up such a massive part of people’s day must feel good. You certainly made my day and the party the onth afterwards and I’d recommend you to any one of my friends looking for something really special.
